His directorial debut, A Letter for Tomorrow, premiered at BFI Flare 2026, a BAFTA-qualifying festival, before selections at the Oscar-qualifying Bengaluru International Short Film Festival and Mumba International Film Festival.
At Disney+ Hotstar, his Executive Producer credits include Criminal Justice, The Freelancer, Taaza Khabar, City of Dreams, Baahubali: Crown of Blood, The Legend of Hanuman, Aakhri Sach and Rudra — The Edge of Darkness. His experience spans concept and development through production, performances, visual language, music, editing and final delivery. He was also part of the team that launched Hotstar Quix, expanding his work into programming and content strategy.
A University of the Arts London alumnus, Mahesh’s early practice includes documentaries on LGBTQIA+ rights and human interest stories, alongside documentary photography in London. He has conceptualised and directed over 100 digital films for clients and projects including Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Dharma Productions, Times Network, Phantom Films, Red Chillies Entertainment, T-Series, ArtsTemps London, Disney’s Aladdin, Ed Sheeran’s Divide World Tour and A. R. Rahman’s Encore Concert.
